When it comes to curtains there are a variety of headings available and also a few options as to where they hang, this is all down to personal preference. Here at H&R I prefer to fit our hand pleated curtains on a pole rather than a track, and hang them below the pole.
Why? Because I think the pleats stand out more and the top looks much neater. If the curtains were sitting over the pole or track, all the spaces would have to be pulled forward rather than pushed back; some people prefer to do this as they don't want to see the pole, but it is good to remember that during the day time the pole is going to visible regardless of whether the curtains are under or over!
In the picture below you may also notice that these curtains have been "pleated to pattern".
